Cappadocia balloon tours are only conducted once a day in the early morning at sunrise. The capacity of the baskets we use for balloon tours ranges from 20 to 28 people. Our balloon tour prices include round-trip hotel transfers, flight insurance fees, breakfast before the flight, a souvenir certificate after the flight, and champagne or fruit juice. The pick-up times from hotels vary between 03:00 and 06:00, depending on the location of the guests’ hotels and the seasons.
Flights are only available once a day, early in the morning at sunrise. Unfortunately, we cannot accept children under the age of 6.
It is essential to make a reservation in advance for the balloon tour. Additionally, for future balloon tour reservations, where your insurance will be arranged, and your seats in the basket will be reserved, you need to make half of the payment at least 1 week before the tour, and the remaining payment by 12:00 noon the day before the balloon tour. For reservations made less than a week in advance, the full payment is required on the day of the reservation. Reservations are not made without payment. If the remaining fees are not paid by 12:00 noon, Öz Palmira Tourism and Travel Agency Ltd. reserves the right to cancel the guest’s balloon tour reservation. In case of cancellation, no refunds will be given. You can make your payments either by bank transfer or by cash at our hotel in Göreme. The staff at the hotel reception can assist you with the payment process, but they do not have detailed information about the balloon tour. Please contact us for any questions or inquiries you may have.
NO PAYMENTS ARE ACCEPTED ON THE MORNING OF THE BALLOON TOUR.
The prices for Cappadocia balloon tours are determined in Euros, but guests who wish to do so can make their payments in Turkish Lira based on the current Euro to TL exchange rate on the day of the flight. The balloon companies within the Cappadocia Balloon Association determine the balloon tour prices. Öz Palmira Tourism and Travel Agency Ltd. is not the entity that sets the prices.
WE ONLY ACCEPT CASH PAYMENTS FOR TOURS, AND UNFORTUNATELY, CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.
The necessary information for making a balloon tour reservation is as follows:
For each participant:
- First and Last Name
- Turkish ID Number (or Passport Number if foreign)
- Name of the Hotel where you are staying
- Your contact number
If you send us this information via WhatsApp, your pre-reservation will be made. After making your payment, your reservation will be completed. Reservations without payment are considered incomplete.
After your reservation is completed, you will be informed of the pick-up time from the hotel in the evening, one day before the flight.
IMPORTANT NOTE: In the event of cancellation of balloon tours due to weather conditions, the amount you have paid will be refunded without any deductions. However, in case the guest cancels after making the payment or fails to participate in the morning tour for any reason, no refund will be given for any situation caused by the guest.
During peak seasons, reservations are made with an advance payment. The remaining payment must be made, as mentioned above, at least 1 day before the flight.
